You are
lucky, your colleagues in the nuclear medicine department are able to do
a V/Q scan straightaway. On her way to Nu-clear Medicine, your patient becomes hypotensive while passing radiology. She
has an asystolic cardiac arrest in the corridor.
Despite a very aggressive code run by your radiologist, she dies. Post mortem examination
demonstrates a large right tension pneumothorax. (See card: Pulmonary Barotrauma)
