| Changing
the Inspiration : Expiration ratio to 1.5 : 1 causes a rise in her oxygen saturation
to 95%. Unfortunately her cardiac output and blood pressure
fall, most likely due to significant air trapping. It is therefore
best to discontinue inverse-ratio ventilation and change the I : E ratio
back to 1 : 1.3.
